This case study aims at presenting the business model and the results of the Santander International Entrepreneurship Centre (CISE), an international reference Centre dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and promoting the generation of start-ups. The case study starts with the presentation of the national context in which CISE is embedded in order to provide the reader with insight into the CISE’s working environment. It then stresses the CISE’s history and briefly explains its vision and mission since they constitute the basis upon which all programs and activities are constructed, before emphasizing on its distinctive comprehensive entrepreneurship approach that aims at fostering entrepreneurship in society from a global perspective, thereby contributing to the economic and social progress of its environment. This case studies concludes that it is possible to establish comprehensive strategies in support of an entrepreneurial culture. It requires a clear vision, functional planning and coordination within the own and with other stakeholders initiatives.
